3 FORMAT
3.1 The Competition is be based on one-verses-one format.
3.2 Players will play in a single elimination knockout format.
3.3 General rules
• Game Mode: Round Robin into Best-of-3
3.4 Tournament stage
• Stage 1 to 25 September 2021
• All participants will be shuffled randomly in a bracket to determine their opponents in a single elimination knockout format.
3.5 Players will be provided with a Discord Channel for reporting upon closure of Tournament registration.
4 PLAYER REPORTING
4.1 Discord and communications
• A Discord channel will be provided for players for tournament use. All information and communication will be through Discord only.
• Discord link will be provided after registration has ended.
4.2 Pre-Game Reporting
• Players should report on Discord at least 15 minutes before the event start time for each day.
• Players who are late will be disqualified.
4.3 Post-Match Reporting
• All players are required to post their match scores in the discord channel through a screenshot or a photo taken with their mobile devices.
• Any players who have failed to report matches will be subject to confirmation from both players and disputes will be resolved accordingly.
5 TOURNAMENT SETTINGS
5.1 Tournament rules
• Tournament will be played online
• No emulator and third-party programs/peripherals allowed
• Players will play with Kick-Off mode with Live Form mode ON.
6 GAME RESTART
6.1 Game restart can only be done with the conditions stated below:
• Game breaking bug causing the game to be unplayable
• A player disconnects before the first goal is scored, leading to a game interruption.
7 PRIZES
7.1 Prizes will be awarded to the top 4 players in the tournament as follows:
a) Champion (Cash prize $100, Champion Trophy & 1 Medal)
b) 1st Runner-up (Cash prize $80 & 1 Medal)
c) 2nd Runner-up (Cash prize $50 & 1 Medal)
d) 3rd Runner-up (Cash prize $50 & 1 Medal)
8 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
8.1 By entering this competition, you agree to these terms and conditions. You consent to your personal data being collected and processed for the purpose of communication in this competition.
You agree to receive postings (i.e. announcements, reporting, results, draw etc) on the competition. You will not use the chat group in ways that: (a) violate, or infringe the rights of other users, including privacy; (b) are illegal, or otherwise obscene, defamatory, threatening, intimidating, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; (c) impersonate someone; or (d) post content that is irrelevant to the competition. The chat group will be deleted after the competition.
The Civil Service Club reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue, date and/or time of the competition at its discretion due to inclement weather, facility problem or any other situation deemed as appropriate. The Civil Service Club and its servants and/or agents will not be held responsible for any claims arising out of any death or injury, damage or loss, suffered or caused while attending this competition, and this includes all costs and expenses incurred as a result of such claims.
