CSC Singing Star 2014 Final and

WINE & DINE

5 December 2014

The final of the annual CSC Singing Star culminated
with the last wine and Dine event of the year on friday,
5 December 2014. it was indeed a night to remember.
for those who attended the wine and Dine event,
they were in for a treat as the nalists gave their
best performances that night and serenaded all with
renditions of popular tunes!

Shining Bright Like Diamonds
The restaurant was transformed into a mini concert venue. Strobe lights dazzled the audience. Off
stage, adoring fans held their specially made signs aloft and cheered the f nalists on. Applause and
cheers rang out for the singers after they took a bow. Many in the audience also whipped out their
phones to vote for the f nalists via SMS. They also got the chance to participate in the Guess The
Champion Contest.

The f rst f nalist to take the stage was Richard Wong, who was competing in the Evergreen category.
He wowed the crowd with his stunning voice. His song choice was 无情的情书 , and he sang with
great emotions. In the Pop Idol category, one f nalist stood out Ainul Suhaidah, who sang I Wanna
Love You Forever. She exuded the conf dence of a bona f de superstar, delivering the high notes
with ease.

The co-organiser of CSC Singing Star 2014 was Wu Jia Ban Vocal Training School. The organisation
sponsored vocal classes for our f nalists and primed them for their big night. Mr Goh Moh Chuan,
Principal of Wu Jia Ban Vocal Training School, along with his team of vocal trainers, also took on
double duties as judges.

Something Magical in the Air
While the singers provided auditory treats, it was the magicians who regaled the crowd with a visual
feast. In a blink-and-you-miss moment, handkerchiefs were deftly turned into f ying doves!

A few lucky participants were also invited on stage to perform the no-hands bottle trick. Gasps and
wows rang out and mouths were agape when the bottle f oated in midair! The audience did a quick
