their gloves for an intensive kickboxing workout.
Capping off the marathon was a fun aerobic
workout set to popular K-pop tunes such as
Fantastic Baby, Paparazzi and Sorry Sorry.
If K-pop instructor Jasmine Wong was the front
woman, then the participants were her backup
singers and dancers. They sang the songs even
as they executed the moves. Ms Marliya, who
works at Housing Development Board, said, This
is my f rst time participating in a full-on aerobic
workout. I was quite tired but the music kept me
going!
A clean sweep for MOE at the nals of
the Public Service Bowling Competition
Over at Westwood Bowl, cheers rang out and
f st pumps were launched into midair each time
someone bowled a strike. The f nale of the Public
Service Bowling Competition 2014 which saw
210 teams from 35 government agencies taking
part, the Mixed Categorys f nal was underway
as the twenty qualifying teams took aim, swung
and knocked pins down. In the end, it was the
team from Ministry of Education (MOE), who
collectively scored a whopping 2,819 points, to
