CoURse FoR adULTs

chinese ink painting is a hobby that relaxes the mind and cultivates ones patience and calmness.
in this eight-week course, you will:

Understand the beauty of chinese ink paintings and how they differ from Western paintings.
Learn the art of traditional ink painting, starting from practising lines, shapes and grey shadows.
then, discover how to achieve a contrast between black, grey and white as well as add colours
to create unique masterpieces.
Understand how chinese artists think about their subjects and the principles and rules they
follow when painting them.
Learn to use the same basic brush strokes to create subjects such as bamboos, orchids, lotus
fowers and plum blossoms.
