RULES & REGULATIONS
The Interactive Telematch is held in conjunction with the Public Service Sports and Family Day at the Gardens by the Bay (Bay East) on Saturday, 20 July 2019. The Telematch Competition Time-Table is given at Annex A.
The Competition is open only to civil servants and officers serving in Statutory Boards, Restructured Hospitals and Government-Aided Schools, and employees of registered former Statutory Boards.
Teams must register through the Sports Liaison Officers/Co-ordinator of their respective organisations. Only team registration shall be accepted. Individual entries will not be accepted.
Each STAR organisation is allowed to enter a maximum of five teams.
Each team shall comprise a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 players.
A team can comprise any combination of male and female players. However, team captains must ensure that their teams are able to field at least 2 female players and 1 Merdeka player (above 60 years old as at 20 July 2019) to play in any of the telematch games.
Teams fielding ineligible players shall be disqualified from the event. Team members must produce their staff cards and Identity Card during random check or in event of protest.
Public Officers must be pre-registered to take part in the activities at the PSSFD.
Only registered participants will be issued with the PSSFD tickets for redemption of fun packs and freebies at the event.
Each participant shall be issued with only one PSSFD ticket regardless of the number of events participating in.
Participants shall collect the PSSFD tickets from the sports liaison officers of their respective agencies.
Participants must bring along their tickets on day of event as no replacement tickets will be issued at the event.
The Interactive Telematch shall comprise three telematch games.
The number of players for each telematch game may vary. However, the Team Captain must include at least 2 female players and 1 Merdeka player (60 years and above as at 20 July 2019) to play.
Points will be awarded based on the placing of the teams in each of the three telematch games as follow:

5th
6th downwards
The points from the three telematch games will be aggregated to determine the top four teams.
No points will be awarded to a team if it fails to:
a) field the required number of players to play in a telematch game;
b) include 2 female players in a telematch game;
c) include 1 Merdeka player (60 years old and above as at 20 July 2019); and
d) report in time for the telematch
Each participating agency must appoint a telematch team manager.
The team manager must be present by 7.45am to receive the organisation flag from the Guest-of-Honour.
Each telematch team must appoint a team captain who will be responsible for the conduct of the team members.
The prizes for the top 4 teams are as follows:
Team must be present to collect the prizes from the Guest-of=Honour otherwise the prize will be forfeited.
If it rains heavily in the afternoon, the interactive telematch shall be replaced by simple novelty games to be held at a shelter location.
Participants are advised to bring along a spare set of sports attire for use in case of wet weather.
Participants in a team are encouraged to wear their organisation's T-shirt or T-shirt of the same colour if they do not have an organisation T-shirt. This is to facilitate easy identification of the teams.
To enable supporters to identify their teams and also to enhance the carnival atmosphere, team members are encouraged to bring along their organisation flag on display in the field and at the area designated for their supporters.
Any protest must be submitted:
a) by the Team Manager/Captain,
b) in writing using the official Protest Form,
c) to the Organiser,
d) together with a deposit of $50, and
e) within 10 minutes following the conclusion of the match in dispute.
The Protest Committee shall comprise a staff from Civil Service Club and two Sports Liaison Officers/Team Captains not involved in the dispute.
The decision of the Protest Committee in any dispute is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
The whole team will be disqualified if any of its members confront any official or staff of the Organisers.
The Organising Committee reserves the right to revise the format, rules and regulations, game duration as and when deemed appropriate.
The Civil Service Club reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue, date and/or time of the event at its discretion due to inclement weather or any other unforeseen circumstances.
Participants take part in the event at their own risk.
The Civil Service Club, the Organising Committee, appointed contractors, sponsors, appointed officials and staff shall not be responsible for any mishap, injury or loss of life that may be suffered by participants and/or supporters before, during or after the event.
The Civil Service Club, the Organising Committee, appointed contractors, sponsors, appointed officials and staff shall not be responsible for any loss of personal belongings.
