Developing cleaner and greener clubhouses
The Singapore Green Plan 2030 is a whole-of-nation movement to advance Singapore’s national agenda on sustainable development. Civil Service Club has pledged to support the Green Plan, and is committed to fostering greener and more sustainable clubhouses.
All CSC clubhouses and chalet resorts have earned Green Mark certification, with Changi, Tessensohn, Loyang, and Changi II achieving Green Mark Platinum status, and Bukit Batok awarded Green Mark Gold Plus. The Green Mark system evaluates a building’s environmental impact and performance, emphasizing sustainability.
To date, the Club has implemented several eco-friendly initiatives as part of its green journey:
- Adoption of solar panels and implementation of energy conservation measures
- Utilization of energy-efficient air conditioning systems
- Collection and monitoring of recyclable waste
- Introduction of heat pump technology at all clubhouse swimming pools and Changi’s chalet toilets
- Establishment of mobility EV charging points at all clubhouse carparks
