Over the past few months, members using the Clubs facilities may have experienced varying degrees of
inconvenience caused by the various renovations and upgrading works in the Club. These are part of the
Clubs efforts to rejuvenate and energise the Club with better facilities for our members to enjoy.
Facilities Upgrade. The Club has received positive feedback from our members and users of the
newly renovated facilities such as the Function Room, Planet Bowl and Treasure Cove. These facilities
are also experiencing greater utilisation. Some of the planned upgrading works are slightly delayed,
such as the new toilets for the Tree Houses in Bukit Batok Clubhouse and the Reception and Lobby area
at Tessensohn Clubhouse. They will be completed a month later, in August 2013. Also, the Corporate
Services area will commence renovation only in August and be completed in October 2013.
TESSY Kitchen. The new Cooking Studio, TESSY Kitchen, has been very well-utilised. In the month of
Website May and June, many cooking events were hosted in the cooking studio. One of the highlights was Barillas
Ambassador Chef Michele Tomadin, in town for Savour, the culinary extravaganza. He made a pit
stop at the Club to share his knowledge in the Taste of Italy event. TESSY Kitchen will host a series of
upcoming cooking demonstrations conducted by renowned local chefs like Eric Teo, Daniel Koh, Pung Le
Tian, Eric Low, Melvyn Lee and Anna Phua. Do sign up for these cooking demonstrations. See page 26 for
