@ CSC Bukit Batok Due to the haze, the lantern parade was
on 14 September 2015 cancelled. However, the night ended with a
mass dance and lucky winners walked away
Cheerful voices filled the ballroom at with fabulous prizes.
CSC Bukit Batok, heralding the 200 students
from Princess Elizabeth Primary School
(PEPS). Children came dressed in traditional
cheongsam and multi-national costumes.
The audience enjoyed the performances put up
by PEPS CCA groups. Balloon Sculptor Crazee
E.Z. and enchanting magician Joe hyped up the
crowd with their amazing shows.

CSC and Farrer Park Primary School (FPPS)
jointly organised its first Mid-Autumn Festival
at Tessensohn Clubhouse. Over 140 school
children from Singapore, China, Taiwan, Korea,
India and Spain congregated with their families
at the Diamond Ballroom for the event. It was
truly a multi-ethnic atmosphere.
FPPS percussion band started the event with a
rousing and resounding performance which got
everyone’s attention. The K1 and K2 pupils from
the MOE@Farrer Park came on stage for their
dance item. The audience was charmed by their
innocence and cute dance moves. After this,
the FPPS students performed a Snow White
and the Seven Dwarfs skit with a Mid-Autumn
Festival twist.
“The event was fun and well-organised.
When the kids are happy, we parents are
happy!” smiled Ms Ooy Yoan, whose son
Yong Xin was in the dance and also the
pomelo peeling competition.
After the balloon sculpturing and magic
show, the children held out their bright
and beautiful lanterns and prepared
themselves for the lantern parade. They
ambled along the route with their parents,
enjoying the breezy moonlit night at
the swimming pool. It was indeed an
unforgettable night for all.
