Wow, what a spectacular SG50 National Day
Celebration! For many of us who were not fortunate
enough to get tickets to watch the show live at the Padang,
we were content to watch it live, on the big screen, at
CSC @ Changi. We watched it at the open lawn with
about 200 members and their families and friends. We
stood up and sang our hearts out when the National
Anthem was played and proudly recited the National
Pledge as one big family. All of us had a great time
watching the proceedings together! Do check out full

Wine & Dine / Launch of
CSC @ Tessensohn Microsite
The National Day Wine & Dine was held at the Qian Xi
restaurant at CSC @ Tessensohn on 14 August. There was
a large turnout of about 450 participants with many of
them donning Singapore’s national colours of red and
white. Participants whose birthdays fell in the month of
August were invited onstage to cut a big birthday cake
and each of them received a birthday present. During this
event, we also launched our CSC @ Tessensohn Microsite,
officiated by Mr. Ho Siong Hin, Chairman of House & Bar.
The microsite complements the Club’s main website by
offering easier access to the offerings, activities, facilities As part of the SG50 celebrations, all members who
and nearby public transport and F&B outlets. Do visit the
microsite, we look forward to your feedback.
Club Survey
The external survey that the Club initially planned to
conduct in July/August will be conducted instead in
September. The Club will still consider the survey
feedback to formulate the thrust and direction for
FY 2016/17 and beyond.

Membership Matters
Membership Application, Updates and Renewal
The Club is improving the process of membership
application, updates and renewal to make it more
user-friendly. For our members’ convenience we have
updated our E-Membership on our website so that
members can now easily and quickly update any
changes in their personal particulars. The Club has also
simplified the format of the membership application
form to make it easier to fill-in and submit. We have
also reviewed and shortened our internal process
of membership application. All this will result in a
shorter waiting time for new applicants to get their
membership cards and for members to have their
personal particulars updated almost immediately.
The Club has also introduced a more pro-active way
of engaging with our term members; term members
whose terms are expiring will receive a notification
letter from the Club. They can respond either by
posting the self-addressed reply envelope or through
our Clubhouse reception, phone, email and website.
Members who have renewed their membership will
be followed-up with to ensure that they receive their
membership welcome package and premiums.
Supplementary Cards
Good news for supplementary card holders!
Supplementary card holders, who are above the
21 years old, can now sign-in guests during peak periods.
This enables principle members’ spouse or parents,
who are supplementary members, to bring their
children or grandchildren to enjoy the Club’s facilities
and participate in Club activities when the principle
member is busy. However, principle members are
encouraged to apply supplementary membership for
their children between the ages of 3 and 20 years old.
R 18 Members
have been offered the R 18 membership can now apply
for supplementary membership for their spouse. This
will enable this category of members, who are mostly
in their 70s, to bring their loved ones to enjoy the
Club’s facilities.
