PUBLIC SERVICE CANOE SPRINT 2026

Please be informed that only the following categories are open for registrations and amendments, the limit of 6 entries per event still stand as stated on para 3.5 of the Canoe Sprint Rules & Regulations.
The rescheduled Public Service Canoe Sprint categories are:

Women’s Event
Women’s Senior Event
Women’s Double Event

Dear Canoe Sprint 2026 Participants, Team Managers & Sports Liaison Officers,

Further to our earlier update regarding the postponement of the remaining categories from the Public Service Canoe Sprint competition, we are pleased to confirm the arrangements for the rescheduled events.

The Singapore Mid-Distance Canoeing Championships (SMDCC) 2026 will be held at MacRitchie Reservoir on 14 and 15 November 2026.

The remaining categories from the Public Service Canoe Sprint 2026 will be conducted in conjunction with the SMDCC on Saturday, 14 November 2026.

The rescheduled Public Service Canoe Sprint categories are:

Men’s Double Event
Women’s Event
Women’s Senior Event
Women’s Double Event

All existing registrations for these categories will remain valid. As previously advised, agencies may amend their registered participants up to 23 Oct 2026.

Further details, including the event schedule and race arrangements, will be shared once they have been finalised.

We thank everyone for your continued patience, understanding and support following the earlier postponement. We look forward to seeing all teams back on the water at MacRitchie Reservoir on 14 November 2026.

Details

Participants must possess a minimum 1 Star certification in kayaking to take part in the PSCS 2026.
Certification courses are available at Singapore Canoe Federation or PA Passion Wave @ Marina.
A participant is allowed to paddle for maximum of one single boat event and one double boat event.
All participants must use the closed deck kayaks provided by the organisers.
Participants may use their own paddles and Personal Floatation Device (PFD), or those provided by the organisers.

How to Register

Contact your Sports Liaison Officers for registration. Registration must be made online by keying players’ details directly into the portal or filling their details in the Excel registration template and then upload into the portal. All registration must be accompanied by online payment of $6 per team registration fee (subject to prevailing GST rate) otherwise it will be void.
