roBotICS
For Kids

robotics is being used increasingly to motivate, excite and inspire objective:
creativity in children. the hands-on experience helps your child to have real-world experience of working with actual mechanical and
develop logical thinking and solve real-world problems. your child will electronic parts
step into the world of physics, mechanics, electronics, programming learn the uses and functions of mechanical and electronic parts
and mathematics. the course allows him to learn by doing things the learn about an autonomous robot
fun way. assemble a line-following robot
test-drive a working robot and bring it home!
your child will get to assemble a line-following robot using common
engineering materials. during this workshop, he will identify actual date: 2 thursdays, 2 to 9 apr 15
mechanical and electronic parts and build a mobile robot with bolts time: 7pm 9pm
and nuts. he will learn how to programme the arduino microcomputer. venue: club csc @ tessensohn
your child will get to bring home the robot he builds! fees: Members child $170, Members guests/
Public offcers child $180
For this course, please have your child come with a Windows or Mac For children aged 9 to 15
