RESIGNATION
9. Any member may resign his membership by giving to the Membership Department
notice in writing to that effect at least 2 months in advance. Such member shall
pay all debts due by him to the Club including the subscription due for the months
in which such notice is given. Any such member who has discharged all liabilities
to the Club and wishes to re-join may submit a fresh application for membership.
The Executive Committee may at its discretion approve his re-admission upon
payment of a penalty fee which shall be equivalent to his subscription for one
year.
MEMBERS’ ADDRESSES
10. Every member of the Club shall inform the Membership Department of any
change of address in writing or through the Membership E-Personal Particulars
Update portal.
CLUB NOT TO BE USED FOR BUSINESS, ETC
11. No member shall give the address of the Club or Clubhouse in any
advertisement or use the Club or Clubhouse address for business purposes.
No paper, notice of placard, written or printed, shall be exhibited, put in the
Clubhouse, or in any way brought to the notice of other members without the
sanction of the Management.
EXPULSION OF CLUB MEMBERS
12a. The Executive Committee shall have power to expel any Ordinary,
Supplementary or Retiree Member who offends against the Club's
Constitution, Bye-Laws, Rules or Orders or whose conduct in the opinion of
the Executive Committee renders him unfit for membership.
Before any such member is expelled, the member concerned shall be
informed of the complaints made against him and given a minimum of 7 days
written notice to give an explanation. Thereafter, if necessary, the Vice-
President may call on the member to attend a meeting for the purpose of
answering the charges. The Committee may thereafter decide to expel the
member, suspend him, or impose any other lesser penalty. If the member
refuses to reply to the charges or fails to attend the meeting called to answer
the charges, the Committee may nevertheless proceed to decide on the
penalty to be imposed. No appeal shall lie from the decision of the Committee
to any Court of Law.
