Sustainable Nutrition

Venue : Others

With a growing world population and increasing global environmental changes (climate change, deforestation, damage
to marine ecosystems), the future of our food is something to think about.

Sustainable nutrition is about choosing foods that are healthful to our bodies, without compromising the ability of
future generations to meet their nutritional needs.

This talk will shed some light on the environmental impact of food production and food waste in Singapore.

This is part of the equation for the Singapore Green Plan 2030, a Whole-Of-Nation Movement Advancing Singapore's
National Agenda On Sustainable Development and working towards A Zero-Waste Nation.

We will touch on how, as consumers, we can shift to a more sustainable and healthy diet by minimizing our carbon footprint
and reducing food waste.
